The Cincinnati Junior Rowing Club is a competitive
rowing team, open to any high school student in the greater Cincinnati area.
Located in Newport, KY, the club has both boys and girls teams, totaling around
150 rowers from area schools.
Since our inception in 1993, CJRC has
emerged as one of the dominant programs in the Midwest region if not the whole
country. The boys and girls teams have each won 20 team championships at the
annual Midwest Junior Rowing Association competition along with over 30 medals
at National Championship regattas, including 15 national titles. Following
their successes at our club, numerous CJRC have gone on to compete in the
Olympics and other world rowing competitions.
We offer competitive fall and spring seasons, as well as a winter conditioning program. No prior experience is necessary and getting started is easy. CJRC is a non-profit 501.3c, all donations are tax-deductible. Our missing is to provide boys and girls in the greater Cincinnati area with the opportunity to learn to row and compete at a national level, while nurturing the value to commitment, development of character, and a life-long passion for excellence.
