The Cincinnati Enquirer again conducts its popular Beacon Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine high school athlete of the week, allowing voters to choose their favorite athletes from each sport and teams of the week throughout each season. Varsity-level athletes who have made a significant impact on a game within the nomination time frame, which is the week before the voting period (Monday through Sunday) can be nominated for this performance-based recognition.
