Dear Walnut Hills Football Families,

My name is Coach Goodman, and I am honored and excited to introduce myself as the new
Head Football Coach at Walnut Hills High School. I want to thank the administration for this
opportunity and share how grateful I am to join a school and community with such a strong
tradition of excellence both academically and athletically.

I am truly excited about the opportunity to work with your sons and to build a football program
that reflects the values of Walnut Hills. My goal is to develop student-athletes who compete with
passion, discipline, and pride, while also emphasizing character, accountability, and teamwork.
Success on Friday nights matters, but preparing young men for life beyond football matters
even more.

As we begin building our program, strength training will be an important foundation. For the
month of February, we will be lifting Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 3:30–5:00 PM.
These sessions will focus on developing strength, speed, and proper technique while reinforcing
commitment and consistency.

To help establish strong communication and share our vision moving forward, we will be holding
a parent meeting on Wednesday, March 4th, from 6:00–7:00 PM. I strongly encourage all
parents to attend, as this will be an opportunity to discuss expectations, offseason goals, and
answer any questions you may have.

If your son is currently participating in another sport, please let me know so I can make note of
it. We fully support multi-sport athletes and want to ensure proper communication and
coordination.

I believe the best programs are built through strong relationships between players, families,
coaches, and the school community. Open communication and trust will be a priority for me, and
I look forward to working alongside you to support our athletes in every way possible.

I am energized by the potential of this program and excited about what we can accomplish
together. I can’t wait to get started and begin building something special at Walnut Hills.
