Walnut Hills Elementary Night Brings Future Eagles to the Nuthouse

WALNUT ATHLETICS

Walnut Athletics | 9/6/2026

Walnut Hills Athletics welcomed our youngest Eagles to Marx Stadium on Friday night for a special Elementary Night, creating an unforgettable evening of football, community, and plenty of NUTHOUSE energy.

Despite the rain and challenging weather, families turned out in force to support the Walnut Hills football and cheer programs as the Eagles hosted Turpin. The night gave elementary students and their families an opportunity to experience the excitement of Walnut Hills athletics and see what it means to be part of the Eagle community.

·Bengals Friday Night Stripes Comes to Marx Stadium·

The evening got started with Bengals Friday Night Stripes, bringing a special dose of Cincinnati football excitement to Marx Stadium.

Families enjoyed interactive activities and giveaways, including a football toss and photo opportunities with Who Dey and the Ben-Gals. The Bengals' Friday Night Stripes program is visiting high school football games throughout the region this fall, celebrating high school football and engaging with fans along the way.

For many of Walnut Hills' youngest fans, getting to meet Who Dey and the Ben-Gals was a highlight of the evening.

·Rain Didn't Stop the NUTHOUSE·

While the weather may not have cooperated, the Walnut Hills community certainly did.

Families stayed through the rain to cheer on the Eagles, bringing energy and enthusiasm from the stands. Although Walnut Hills ultimately fell short on the scoreboard, the support from the crowd provided a memorable backdrop for our student-athletes.

The rain didn't stop us. The NUTHOUSE was rocking!

Elementary Night is about more than the final score. It's about creating connections between our youngest students and the high school programs they will one day become part of. Seeing future Eagles cheering alongside current student-athletes is a reminder of the strength and pride that exists throughout the Walnut Hills community.

·Building the Next Generation of Eagles·

A special thank you goes to all of the families who made the decision to spend their Friday night with us — especially those who braved the rain to be part of the celebration.

Your support matters to our student-athletes, and your presence helps create the kind of game-day atmosphere they will remember long after the final whistle.

We can't wait to welcome our future Eagles back to Marx Stadium again soon!

One School. One Community. GO EAGLES!
